Designs That Stretch Your Floral Dollar

Designs That Stretch Your Floral Dollar

There are many floral designs that stretch your floral dollar. Nothing is better than having the best of both worlds for beauty and budget! Check out my favorite repurposed floral designs below.

Aisle Decor

I only recommend aisle decor to my couples if it can be reused. This is because aisle decor is such an easy item to move! My favorite way to repurpose this decor is in front of a band stage or head table.

Why should I care about the band stage?

The band stage is often overlooked and not considered to be important regarding floral design. However, some of your most precious moments on your wedding day will take place here. First dances, toasts, speeches, etc. can take place on the dance floor. There will be many photos taken on the dance floor and what better way to enhance those photos than with your repurposed aisle decor in front of the band!

Entrance or Ceremony Urns

Entrance and ceremony urns are another really easy item to pick up and repurpose. I love reusing ceremony urns from the church ceremony to the entrance of the reception at the venue. You can also reuse the aisle entrance urns in the same manner. Urns also look great on bars, on either side of a stage or head table, or even in the middle of a buffet table.

Why should I have entrance urns in the first place?

In my opinion, the first thing your guests should see when they walk up to your wedding should be flowers. Ever hear the phrase, “You only get one chance to make a first impression”? Flowers are a great way to ‘wow’ your guests when they first arrive. It sets the tone for the event and gets your guests excited about the night. There is also a practical use for entry flower decor. Remember as a kid when you went to a birthday party and there were balloons tied to the mailbox? Flowers can also let your guests know they are at the right place! Don’t you love it when floral decor is both beautiful and practical?

Ceremony Installation

Surprising, right? Can you really reuse ceremony decor? The answer is a resounding yes! Certain arches, urns, and ground installations can be easily be reused throughout the reception. Arches can be used to go over the cake table or as a photobooth backdrop. Urns can go from framing you while you say your vows to framing another area of the reception. My favorite example of this is at The Monastery Event Center, you can see this wedding here. Ground installations can go from circling you at the altar to be placed on the head table or line the band stage.

Do I really need a ceremony installation?

Since your ceremony is the most important part of your wedding day, I highly recommend having flowers. You’ll have so many photos taken and flowers can help frame you two while saying your vows.

Highly recommend Roots Floral Design - absolutely beautiful!

“Kaytee is an absolute GEM! She has so much passion and care for what she does, that you feel like she's a friend more than a vendor. She walks you through each step of the floral process with organization, examples, cost, and detail -- all things that make my detail-oriented heart happy. The end result far exceeded anything we could have hoped for or imagined. ALL. THE. GREENERY. Future brides, run, don't walk to Roots for your wedding. From start to finish, she took care of every single floral need to make our day positively beautiful.”

-Laura, Summer 2019 Wedding

FROM START TO FINISH, SHE TOOK CARE OF EVERY SINGLE FLORAL NEED.

"Kaytee became so much more than a vendor for us. The first time I met her I felt as though I met a long lost friend. She was the very first vendor I chose for the wedding (even before the venue) and she lived up to all my expectations and went above and beyond.  Each time I met with her I felt confident that she completely comprehended my wants and would fashion them into something that looks put together, yet natural. The day-of she silently transformed a bland rustic space into an enchanting, romantic barn. I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful or unique."

THE FIRST TIME I MET HER I FELT AS THOUGH  I MET A LONG LOST FRIEND.

"Kaytee was so great to work with!!! I provided her with some floral inspirations from Pinterest and Instagram but gave her a lot of free rein coming up with the flowers for our wedding and she went above and beyond expectations. Our photographer was obsessed with all the bouquets and we got so many great pictures of them! She did such a good job making my smaller budget work to make high impact arrangements. She's also the sweetest person to be around!"
