Using flowers for your wedding aisle decor can really amp up your ceremony, but they are often the last item on the brides wish list. With the average wedding ceremony lasting only 10-30 minutes, couples are realizing the large investment that flowers for their aisles would be, really isn’t worth it. I would agree with these couples, except that you can reuse your aisle decor flowers for the receptions!
Ceremonies are often taking place in churches, barren reception halls, or in grass. Each of these places can be beautiful in its own way, but flowers can really allow a transformation. I have seen how impactful aisle decor flowers can be. Even though in my opinion the transformation is worth it, we also want to make sure we are staying within our couples budgets. There are several ways we can dress up your aisle and then reuse that same decor for your reception, thus allowing our brides to have the wedding of their dreams.
Garlands and Greenery
I love using garlands and greenery for aisle decor. If getting married in a more industrial or modern space, greenery can really add that pop of color and softness to a space that would otherwise be barren without. Garlands can be pricey (around $15.00 a foot) so using just sparse Italian Ruscus can provide the same overall feel without you spend the big bucks.
Floral Arrangements
This option is the most expensive out of the four, but again, they can be reused for your tables at the reception. I’ve also seen brides reuse these floral arrangements for their sign in table, bar top, or present table.
Candles
I’ve had quite a few brides use just candles for their aisle decor. You would be surprised just how transformative candles can be. They provide ambiance and romance. Candles are the most cost efficient aisle decor option and can easily be moved and placed on the tables after the wedding ceremony takes place.
Entrance Urns
Some brides prefer more of a grand entrance at the start of the aisle instead of through out. Entrance Urns can make quite the statement and announce to all the guests that they have arrived at the wedding. Choosing the proper urn to convey an elegant, rustic, or organic look is crucial. Entrance Urns are the easiest arrangements to reuse. Just pick up the urn and go!

“Kaytee is an absolute GEM! She has so much passion and care for what she does, that you feel like she's a friend more than a vendor. She walks you through each step of the floral process with organization, examples, cost, and detail -- all things that make my detail-oriented heart happy. The end result far exceeded anything we could have hoped for or imagined. ALL. THE. GREENERY. Future brides, run, don't walk to Roots for your wedding. From start to finish, she took care of every single floral need to make our day positively beautiful.”
-Laura, Summer 2019 Wedding
"Kaytee became so much more than a vendor for us. The first time I met her I felt as though I met a long lost friend. She was the very first vendor I chose for the wedding (even before the venue) and she lived up to all my expectations and went above and beyond. Each time I met with her I felt confident that she completely comprehended my wants and would fashion them into something that looks put together, yet natural. The day-of she silently transformed a bland rustic space into an enchanting, romantic barn. I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful or unique."
-Grace, Spring 2019 Wedding
"Kaytee was so great to work with!!! I provided her with some floral inspirations from Pinterest and Instagram but gave her a lot of free rein coming up with the flowers for our wedding and she went above and beyond expectations. Our photographer was obsessed with all the bouquets and we got so many great pictures of them! She did such a good job making my smaller budget work to make high impact arrangements. She's also the sweetest person to be around!"
