Intimate Wedding at Hotel Covington in Kentucky
A pandemic couldn’t stop Brad and Britney’s beautiful intimate wedding at Hotel Covington in Kentucky. This couple said “I do” on the most beautiful summer day in the stunning outdoor courtyard at Hotel Covington. The indoor and outdoor spaces at this hotel is one of the reasons why this venue is one of my favorites for Northern Kentucky.
Britney was a wonderful bride to work with. She gave me full creative freedom and completely trusted me to make all of her wedding floral dreams come true! I loved how she incorporated family heirlooms into her jewelry and around the ribbon on her bouquet. Sentimental touches can make your wedding day be more unique and special to you! At the last minute, Britney decided to add a bold red lip for her wedding makeup. She asked that the flowers have a pop of red too to coordinate! I absolutely think the red in her flowers stole the show.
My favorite detail from this wedding was the elevated centerpiece. We placed this centerpiece on our white column to make it a show stopping arrangement when guests walked up to the reception space. A welcome arrangement can set the tone for the reception and guests were raving about it all night.
For this wedding at Hotel Covington we used quicksand roses, butterfly ranunculus, cappuccino roses, lisianthus, orlaya, and delphinium. The pop of red matched wonderfully with the brides makeup and the dusty blue ribbon to the ring box.
