One of my favorite elements of a wedding to design are the tables that will be displayed at the reception. After doing hundreds of weddings, I have found that the budget you set aside for your wedding table designs will often be what will leave the most impact on your guests.

Most couples aren’t educated on just how many options there are with their wedding table designs. This is the one part of a wedding that can truly be unique to the couple and their story. We can go as wild or as traditional as we want! The options are endless. Why settle for something millions of other couples have done? Let’s get creative and do something fun for your reception tables! I love sitting down with the bride and groom to talk ideas and start drafting these visions up. I find that depending on budget, there are three different table designs that can serve as a starting point and foundation.

The Minimalistic Tablescape:

This style of tablescape is the most cost effective option I provide for reception design. It is minimal and simple, but provides the impact of color that each table needs. When fully plated with silverware and goblets and with candles, this minimalistic table design comes to life. The best thing about the minimalistic table design is that it can be applied to both farmhouse and round tables. This table design also can work with flowers, greenery only, or anything in between. Whether it is in individual accent bud vases or a long, lush garland; sometimes going minimal is best! Prices for this style of design range from $50.00-$150.00 per table before tax.

The Traditional Centerpiece Tablescape:

The Traditional centerpiece is what it’s titled as, a traditional centerpiece.  Blooms flow loosely off of the centerpiece vessels, textured and vibrant greenery add depth, accent whimsy blooms create dimension, and focal flowers catch and captivate the eye. These centerpieces make a statement and tells a story. I love watching guests study and stare at my centerpieces, that tells you that it moves and is interesting to them. Just because a table design is more on the traditional side, doesn’t mean it needs to be boring. By using a variety of in season blooms, we can accomplish an interesting and romantic shape. Prices for this style of design range from $175.00-$300.00 per table before tax. To see more photos of centerpieces, click here.

The Elongated Centerpiece Tablescape:

Looking for something a little more impactful? The elongated centerpiece is perfect for you. This centerpiece design goes the extra mile in making each table a true showstopper. Whether in a classic centerpiece vessel or more of a floral garland, this type of flower design spreads across an entire table, mantel, bar top, or what have you! I love this wedding table design for a head table or above a fireplace mantel! I also love using this look on a farmhouse style table, it just elevates the entire reception and really makes for an interesting piece of art of your guests to look at. Prices for this style of table design range from $300.00-$900.00 per table before tax.

I find that when there is a mix of multiple table designs at a wedding that it provides interest and a sense of movement throughout the reception. Multiple table designs allow the guest’s eye to travel the space and to really study the overall feel and atmosphere of the wedding. We want to be able to create a guest experience for all your family and friends who have traveled far and wide to celebrate your special day! Allowing for multiple table designs also help with overall costs. By combining the traditional and minimalistic wedding table designs, we allow each table to provide impact without blowing the overall budget. Highly recommend Roots Floral Design - absolutely beautiful!

“Kaytee is an absolute GEM! She has so much passion and care for what she does, that you feel like she's a friend more than a vendor. She walks you through each step of the floral process with organization, examples, cost, and detail -- all things that make my detail-oriented heart happy. The end result far exceeded anything we could have hoped for or imagined. ALL. THE. GREENERY. Future brides, run, don't walk to Roots for your wedding. From start to finish, she took care of every single floral need to make our day positively beautiful.”

FROM START TO FINISH, SHE TOOK CARE OF EVERY SINGLE FLORAL NEED.

"Kaytee became so much more than a vendor for us. The first time I met her I felt as though I met a long lost friend. She was the very first vendor I chose for the wedding (even before the venue) and she lived up to all my expectations and went above and beyond.  Each time I met with her I felt confident that she completely comprehended my wants and would fashion them into something that looks put together, yet natural. The day-of she silently transformed a bland rustic space into an enchanting, romantic barn. I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful or unique."

THE FIRST TIME I MET HER I FELT AS THOUGH  I MET A LONG LOST FRIEND.

"Kaytee was so great to work with!!! I provided her with some floral inspirations from Pinterest and Instagram but gave her a lot of free rein coming up with the flowers for our wedding and she went above and beyond expectations. Our photographer was obsessed with all the bouquets and we got so many great pictures of them! She did such a good job making my smaller budget work to make high impact arrangements. She's also the sweetest person to be around!"
