We’ve asked Kentucky wedding planner and florist, Giselle Callahan from Giselle Callahan Weddings, to give us some insight on why these extra detailed shots are so important.
“Give your photographer and event designer/stylist at least 2 HOURS prior to the ceremony for all those lovely, magazine-worthy details you have planned. This is outside of your getting ready photos, first look and pre-wedding group photos, so give four hours total. Be sure to pack your stationery, rings, ring boxes, jewelry, perfume and and other special trinkets. Why? Your wedding day is going to fly by and photographs will be how you remember all of the pretty things. BONUS: If you have gorgeous detail images, your wedding is far more likely to be picked up for feature by local/national publications.”
