On the Banks | Romantic Lakeside & Canoe Elopement Styled Shoot
Whether you love the idea of a lakeside wedding or are looking for a unique setting for an elopement, take a look at this lakeside and canoe elopement styled shoot to inspire you!
This was my first time installing flowers on a canoe, but it was such an out-of-the-box idea and I loved it! It’s definitely not something you see every day, although it has become more popular since our features in Utah Valley Bride and Anthropologie.
The wind also added a lovely romantic feel to give the styled elopement session the perfect amount of drama. Between the flowy, tulle dress and the ribbon on my bouquet, it added a beautiful balance of movement and dimension in each photograph.
I also have to add that I love couples who understand that just because they are eloping, it doesn’t mean that they can’t splurge on gorgeous flowers and photographs for romantic results! If you’re considering an elopement in Ohio, try bringing in some beautiful pops of color for a bouquet or ceremony backdrop! For this photoshoot, we used a blend of peonies, dahlias, and roses to brighten up the scene against the green and blue backgrounds.
