Kingwood Garden Center
If you’ve always imagined getting married in a lush garden, Kingwood Garden Center is the perfect wedding venue for you! There are multiple spots to choose from to say your wedding vows. A great big lawn can hold your tented or open reception. Kingwood Garden Center also has a beautiful historic estate to have your wedding party get ready in. We love that the grounds feel intimate but still offer plenty of space to roam. Located in central Ohio, this venue attracts both Columbus and Cleveland couples. Photos by Nicole Clarey Photography.
Jorgensen Farms
If you’re looking for a barn wedding venue with a modern vibe, Jorgensen Farms is the perfect place! With glass windows on all sides of the building, you can really bring the outdoors in. Jorgensen Farms also has a beautiful property where you can hold an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour. This wedding venue offers multiple indoor and outdoor locations to hold your event. From a floral perspective, we love how many styles and aesthetics look great at this Ohio wedding venue. Since the space has a clean slate, any floral color palette will look great. Marina adds, “I couldn’t agree more, it really is a blank slate that will flatter multiple palettes and styles. With the weather being so unpredictable in Ohio, the greenhouse gives you that outside ceremony feeling with no pressure of worrying about the weather. Peter Allen Inn
If you’re wanting destination wedding but can’t necessarily afford one, Peter Allen Inn is a great substitute. Just outside of Cleveland, this wedding venue is hidden in a small town surrounded by farms. However, Peter Allen is no barn wedding venue. With a modern tent to hold your reception, your upscale wedding aesthetic can fit right in. We also love that the Inn has a mix of traditional and modern architecture. Cleveland Museum of Art
The Cleveland Museum of Art is another great wedding venue. Our favorite space to hold your event is the The Ames Family Atrium. We love how it’s covered but still has an outdoor feel! With the venue’s neutral colors, couples can be creative with their floral color palettes! Flowers are a great way to brighten up a space or to bring the outdoors in. Marina agrees and says, “One of my favorite things about the atrium is all the natural light. My perfect idea of a wedding here would be a ceremony outside on the gorgeous marble stairs and reception inside the atrium. Florals are a huge factor in a space like this which can look too stark. Experts like Roots Floral Design know how to soften and enhance a space like this.”
Magnolia Hill Farm
Magnolia Hill Farm is a brand new Columbus wedding venue that just opened in 2019. The structure may look like a traditional barn venue from afar, but once inside you see it’s full of modern twists. Hands down, our favorite detail about Magnolia Hill is their open “doors” ceremony room. We love that you can feel right on the farm, but still be protected by wind, sun, or rain.
