Pinecroft Mansion in Cincinnati, Ohio
Pinecroft Mansion is a classic treasure in Cincinnati. With its multiple locations on the ground; the inside of the house for cocktails, the grounds for an outdoor ceremony and the tent for a stunning reception – this historic home is a favorite of ours.
Whenever possible we like to support or local flower farms. The icelandic poppies and phlox were purchase from local flower growers and the Southern smilax is our favorite greenery, creating a lush and organic look for asymmetric ceremony floral arch installation. It can also be soft and romantic when used for a garland down the table.
We used a classic white and green color palette to keep with the elegance of the venue. By using lots of soft romantic textures like sweet pea, nigella, astrantia, and campanula, we were able to bring more interest to the otherwise more neutral color palette.
Cincy Event Planning draped linen to bring a touch of color and contrast contrast to the arch design for the ceremony. We so love how this look came together and encourage future couples who marry at Pinecroft Mansion to take full advantage of the grounds, the natural light and gardens – which are stunning during spring through autumn.
