Getting married? What do you think is the most important piece of advice we could give to a newly engaged couple? Hands down, we would say communication is one of the top most important tips we wished all of our brides knew!

You get the gist, communicate the what, when, where and how of everything to everyone. Assume nothing. Don’t underestimate the value of timelines, to-do lists, labels, floor plans, sketches and inspirational images. These items will help you stay organized and sane. The more information you give people the more likely you are to not only get what you want, but also avoid event hiccups, drama and unmet expectations. And finally, be sure to communicate your appreciation. So many people will be going out of their way to attend and to contribute to your event so make sure they know you are thankful for their efforts.”
