Justin + Sarah | Wedding at Patrick O’Shea’s
It was such an honor to provide the wedding flowers for Justin + Sarah! They were just the sweetest couple and they celebrated their special day right in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky.
Justin and Sarah had their wedding at Patrick O’Shea’s, a bar in downtown Louisville. Patrick O’Shea’s has their restaurant and bar on the first floor and their beautiful event spaces on the second and third floor of their building. No better place to hold a wedding reception than one with a view!
When Sarah showed me her dress, my jaw hit the floor. It had exquisite beading and an almost vintage, boho vibe. I knew I wanted her bouquet to be able to compliment her dress style without overwhelming it. The flowers we had in her bouquet were David Austen Charity Garden Roses, Anemones (at Sarah’s request!), Hellebore, Tweedia, Sweet Pea, and Ranunculus. Sarah had requested to have some vines or greenery extend from the bouquet, to give it a more garden-y feel. Instead of using actual greenery, I opted for using the green Hellebore. I really love the outcome of the design!
Because their venue was on the industrial side, Justin and Sarah wanted to bring the outdoors in by having lit wine bottles and greenery on the tables. It brought the perfect balance to bring a warm organic vibe to the space.
