Patrick + Samantha | A Kentucky Winter Wedding
I loved providing the flowers for Patrick + Samantha’s winter wedding! It was the perfect mix of romantic, elegant, and classic blooms with evergreen garlands.
Samantha wanted timeless and classy color palette. We brought in white Majolica Spray Roses, Lisianthus, Nerine, Astilbe, and Ranunculus for her white flowers and Italian Ruscus and Seeded Eucalyptus for her greens. The combination of color palette and flowers were perfect for her timeless Kentucky winter wedding. To tie in with Pat’s suit, Samantha wanted her bouquet to have just a touch of red. We love a groom with a rad and different suit and we were more than happy to accommodate so we added in some red Ranunculus! We also loved just the touch of flowers in Samantha’s hair.
Pat and Sam both are from Chicago, but loved the mountains and skiing so they really wanted to have a destination wedding and invite only their closest family and friends. Although getting married in the mountains made for a chilly day, their love for each other warmed everyone right up. Patrick and Sam’s ceremony and reception were personal and intimate which is just what they wanted. My favorite part of their day (besides the flowers!) was the live band! The band was great and provided such a fun atmosphere.
