Prentice + Haily | Moody + Boho Wedding
Can’t get enough of the moody look and boho vibes for weddings these days? Well, you’re in for a treat! Prentice and Haily’s wedding was the perfect blend of these two styles, and I loved how it all came together!
Haily told me she really wanted her summer wedding to be moody and unique, so we focused on darker colors that still gave off a boho look and feel. I had so much fun finding flowers that created interesting shapes and textures that were so unlike most traditional bouquets out there today. We ended up with a bouquet that combined orchids, dahlias, cafe latte roses, cosmos and cotinus.
I was also very thankful she had a wedding planner — it makes the day go by so smoothly for the other wedding vendors and is such a game changer!
The whole day was beautiful, and Haily and Prentice were beyond kind and simply couldn’t wait to marry each other! Take a look at a few of my favorites below. Just wait ’til you see her dress and bouquet together!

This looks great! What kind of linens go best with dark florals? Do dark florals look nice in indoor halls or barns?
Hi Andrea,
This is a great question! I personally like a lighter colored linen to go with more moody flowers. That way the flowers can pop a little bit more. When both flowers and table linens are dark, it blends and looks like one. I like to make sure that each detail can stand on it’s own! My favorite place to rent linen is La Tavola Linen, their velvet collection is my favorite. If your venue has great lighting, I would say go for it! Sometimes indoor venues have poor lighting, making any kind of darker decor look even darker than it actually is. Let me know if you have any more questions, I’m happy to answer them 🙂
