Romantic
My work is romantic.
I expect to see a shift in color for wedding day flowers. What used to be bright is now soft, muted, and earthy. To tell you the truth, I’m not mad about it at all. If you haven’t already gotten a good idea of who I am as a floral designer, you should know that I base my designs off of how flowers naturally grow nature. And while some blooms naturally are bright, most have an earthy undertone. These colors have so much mood and romance to them. Flower colors are not the only thing that make blooms romantic. Petals are textured and imperfect, they have ruffled edges and slight, brownish imperfections. Focal blooms flow loosely and creatively, the large heads slightly hanging. Accent whimsy blooms dance at the top of the arrangements to create a light and airy feel.
Although you may have already thought that the idea of flowers are romantic, I would hope that after seeing my designs, you would have an even deeper understanding.
